Burton’s/Bazaar pics!

In the lead up to his career retrospective at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, writer/director Tim Burton has gathered with the peeps of Harper’s Bazaar to poke some sinister fun at the upcoming holiday season.

In specific, Burton has partaken in a movie-themed photo-shoot which recreates many of the fashionable anti-heroes his films often embrace. Eddie Scissorhands, Lydia Deetz, the black-shrouded Corpse Bride, the soon-to-be-seen Mad Hatter – all of them are on display here – each with a sleek, sexy, eerie, Gothic S&M look!

And while most of the garments can be purchased, the prices are ungodly. You might just want to keep to oohing-and-ahhing before moving on to the next ehibit. Cop a gander at some of the wickedly outlandish outfits below!

I’m quite partial to the 3rd pic, I don’t know – something about the way the clouds look behind the giant skeleton. That shite looks tight! Which do you like best?

Burton’s MoMA exhibit and retrospective will be held in NYC from November 22, 2009-April 26, 2010.
