Bynes goes to college

JoBloJoBlo

I’m not sure what happened that Amanda Bynes didn’t quite get the career that some of her teen counterparts like Lindsay Lohan or Hilary Duff got. I mean it’s the same kinda thing, right? That said it could probably be a good thing for her in the long run as her reputation as a teenster won’t be as difficult to overcome. She should start thinking now about transitioning to a career like Evan Rachel Wood or Alison Lohman. OK, the Sampson Advice Column is over, now with the news. Bynes has signed on to star in the upcoming college comedy SYNDEY WHITE. The film will star Bynes as an incoming freshman who pledges her mother’s sorority thinking it’s still the tops on campus. It’s not, as you might expect, and our heroine takes it upon herself to transform those zeroes into heroes. Etc., so forth and so on. Sara Paxton and Matt Long Joe Nussbaum (SLEEPOVER) will direct the film for Universal. Bynes can be seen next in New Line’s adaptation of HAIRSPRAY with John Travolta. Filming on WHITE (which I’d bet the farm will have a more generic title by release time) begins next month in Orlando.
