Caan has Mercy

Forgive me for not thinking of Scott Caan as a screenwriter, let alone one who would write a serious script about love, but that’s the case with the upcoming film entitled MERCY. Caan is also producing the film which costars Dylan McDermott, Erika Christensen, and Troy Garity, and is about a jaded young writer who writes about love but doesn’t believe in it. This sounds like something I would do if I was trying to score girls, but that’s certainly not an issue for Scott Caan (he’s famous). Obviously, the film will follow an arc where Caan’s character discovers that love does indeed exist, and we, as the audience, will find redemption through him. How nice. Filming begins Monday (today) in LA.
