You all get a chance to make a trip to Cameron Romero’s STAUNTON HILL back in ’09? Was it a cozy place, or what?
Well, it looks like the son of George A. Romero is back in the directorial saddle, having just wrapped a new thriller called RADICAL. If that doesn’t sound good enough for you, consider the fact it headlines Tommy Sizemore. A perfect marriage, I’d say!
Mad ups to the sickos over at Dread Central, who not only locked a logline for RADICAL, they followed up with a spiffy looking one-sheet for the film (CLICK HERE TO SEE THE ENTIRE THING). Again, if Tom Sizemore ain’t selling your film, who the hell is?
Also starring Josh Carmichael, Shahe Assillian, Ford Austin and BJ Hendricks – RADICAL tells the tale of three American journalists who are captured and held captive by an attention-starved lunatic who’s looking for fame for the many atrocities he’s committed while in the Middle East.
Ooh, another trap-and-torture flick with Americans abroad. Can’t front on that set-up. You diggin’ the sound of Romero’s latest or, does the fact we’re only hearing about it now for the first time, after its already wrapped, give cause for concern?
RADICAL eyes a March 2011 release.
