Inspiration for any budding screenwriter amongst you, first time writer Kyle Killen’s spec script THE BEAVER, about a man who walks around with a beaver puppet on his hand, treating it as something close to a human creature with human feelings, is causing something of a stir in Hollywood circles. And now apparently the project has Steve Carell eyeing a lead role.
People all seem to love a rags to riches story of a writer making it big but I hate them. Unless they’re about me. Some people would accuse me of being bitter and jealous, but I prefer to think that I’m just an asshole. At least you always know where you stand with an asshole.
