Carrie-Anne Moss wants to join Keanu Reeves as an assassin in John Wick 5

Carrie-Anne Moss recently reunited with Keanu Reeves on the big screen for The Matrix Resurrections but the actress is revealing that she would like to join him in his other money-making franchise, John Wick.

During a conversation with People about The Matrix Resurrections, the actress was asked about her favorite Keanu Reeves movie role. Moss explained that she loves the John Wick movies and when Keanu asked her if she’d like to play an assassin in one of the John Wick films, she said “I’d love to.” After her response, the actor said she should be careful what she wishes for because he’d definitely get the ball rolling to make it happen. “I love John Wick. I really started to understand Keanu’s outrageous gift for telling story through his body. And I didn’t fully understand that until I went deep into John Wick with one of my children. It was very bonding for us too. It was amazing to have that experience with my son and to watch the depth that Keanu is able to [create] with his body. It’s really an art form.

I’d love [playing an assassin in a John Wick movie.]”

The John Wick films and The Matrix movies seem strangely connected in some way because, if Carrie-Anne Moss were to join the franchise, she would be the third Matrix actor to make an appearance in the movies. Laurence Fishburne, who played Morpheus in the first three Matrix films, previously reunited with Keanu Reeves on the John Wick franchise. They do seem to share a similar aesthetic so it would make sense for it to happen and it would be something the fans would likely want to see.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is the next installment on deck but its release date was recently shifted to 2023 after previously being dated for Memorial Day weekend of 2022. Along with Reeves, the fourth entry stars Donnie Yen, Scott Adkins, and Bill Skarsgård, to name a few.
