Alright, I have to admit, for as much as I didn’t want Pixar to sequelize CARS as they have about eight other better movies to choose from, I have to admit this looks like it could be alright.
One of my major gripes about the first film was that outside of the initial and concluding races, the majority of the film was set in a podunk town where Lightning was strapped to a giant machine to learn a lesson about humility. Good morality I guess, but a boring movie.
But now Pixar has realized their movie is about CARS that can go FAST and the entire thing has taken on an action film vibe by mixing Mater and Lightning up with British secret agent cars amidst a World Grand Prix race. Excitement all around!
And I never heard that this was actually announced, but the James Bond car, Finn McMissile is voiced by none other than Michael Caine, unless that’s someone doing a damn good Michael Caine impression.
