Cary Elwes, Alex Rocco, Drea de Matteo, Dominic Sherwood, Alex Carter and Andrew Caldwell are all on board for THE OTHER, according to a press release. This is not a remake of the 1972 movie of the same name, don’t worry.

Rick Bieber and Ken Clark are producing under the MiNDS I CiNEMA banner. Bieber directs from an original screenplay he wrote. Highland Film Group (HFG) will handle international sales with Jay Cohen of The Gersh Agency representing the domestic sale.

The psychological horror stars Dominic Sherwood as Zach Bradford, a young man tormented by the possibility of descending into the depths of insanity, or worse, become the target of an actual demonization. The terrors surrounding Zach, his family and friends grow to deadly proportions and he is forced to question his sanity and fears for his girlfriend Shawn’s (Charlbi Dean) safety. Once the threat of psychotic behavior reaches its climactic conclusion, Zach is confronted with an unimaginable horrific reality.

Shooting is now underway in L.A.
