CW’s zombie series “iZombie” (boy oh boy do I hate that title…) has rounded up some of its main cast. Malcolm Goodwin, David Anders and Alexandra Krosney have joined the TV show, according to Deadline.com.

“iZombie” is described as…

…a supernatural crime procedural that centers on a medical-student-turned-zombie named Liv who takes a job in the coroner’s office in order to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity. However, with every brain she eats, she inherits the corpse’s memories. With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head.

David Anders (THE REVENANT, pictured above) will play Blaine, a rich guy who gets in over his head in the drug business.

Malcolm Goodwin (Breakout Kings) is Clive, a sympathetic and down-on-his-luck police detective who comes to believe Liv’s claims and winds up helping her solve homicide cases to soothe the disturbing voices in her head.

Alexandra Krosney (“Nikita”, pictured below) has taken the role of Peyton, Liv’s best friend and roommate who worries that their relationship is becoming distant.

“iZombie” comes from producers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero and is based on the Vertigo graphic novel by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred.
