Celebrate 40 years of Friday the 13th with limited edition hot sauce

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Hot sauce makers Gemini Crow / Demon Vegan have teamed with Ari Lehman, who played little Jason Voorhees in the 1980 classic FRIDAY THE 13TH, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of that film with the release of a limited edition hot sauce called First Jason's 40.

On May 9, 1980 the horror genre was changed forever when Friday the 13th made it's theatrical arrival.  The appearance of "the boy in the lake" kicked the 80's slasher movement into full gear.  Friday the 13th was set to become the hottest horror franchise ever and 40 years later, Ari Lehman is doing it again with the hottest vegan hot sauce.

FIRST JASON'S 40 is a majestic hybrid of sweet and heat. Peaches, Molasses & honey deceptively draw you in right before the heat grips your tongue and continues to rise, which can only be described as slightly less painful then a machete to a head.

I love FRIDAY THE 13TH and I love putting hot sauce on my food, so it's very cool to see a hot sauce company celebrating my favorite horror franchise.

If you'd like to get a bottle of First Jason's 40, you might want to grab it quick, because

THIS SAUCE HAS BEEN STRICTLY LIMITED TO 250 BOTTLES WORLDWIDE AND WILL BE DISCONTINUED ON 12/31/20.  WE EXPECT IT TO SELL OUT BY THANKSGIVING!

First Jason's 40 isn't the only F13-inspired hot sauce Gemini Crow / Demon Vegan has to offer. Others include

a ghost pepper sauce called SLASHER SAUCE and a red Habanero based sauce titled BLOOD OF THE LAKE.

There's also a sauce called Slasher Sauce Part II, which is the same as Blood of the Lake.

In the Gemini Crow / Demon Vegan store, you can choose to get the regular bottles of these hot sauces or ones that have been autographed by Ari Lehman.
