Don’t you just love the robust capitalism on display at the American Film Market? Why if you didn’t, how the hell would cool looking flicks like Deon Taylor’s CHAIN LETTER ever get a day in court?

Okay, so I’m sure there are other avenues to get your story told, but that’s not what we’re talking about in this story. No, in this story we’re all about the tidbit that New Films has picked up global rights to the Nikki Reed starring fright-fest (so says Variety).

A simpler, more clear-cut premise the film couldn’t have: A maniac murders teens when they refuse to forward chain mail.

Blunt. To the point. I’m in love!

Written by Taylor, Diana Erwin, and Michael J. Pagan – CHAIN LETTER boasts an impressive cast, including Betsy Russell, Brad Dourif, Keith David, Bai Ling, Michael Bailey Smith, Clifton Powell and the aforementioned Nikki Reed.

Taylor’s flick will hit the globe some time next year, but you can get acquainted with the trailer Right Here!
