Change at the ATM: Alice Eve in, Margarita Levieva out

Back in August, we got the casting scoop on the Chris Sparling-scripted, David Brooks-directed thriller ATM; The Hollywood Reporter had it that the flick was to star Brian Geraghty, Josh Peck, and Margarita Levieva. Turns out they were almost right.

Thanks to an update over at the Winnipeg Free Press we learn that Levieva is actually not in the film, and Alice Eve (the hottie from SHE’S OUT OF MY LEAGUE) is now set to play one of the three protagonists who find themselves in a claustrophic nightmare. (Not unlike the lead in another Sparling script, BURIED.) We’re not sure when the change took place, but that’s where things stand.

ATM follows three co-workers who stop off at an ATM on the way home from a Christmas party. From there, the rest of the story is set primarily in the ATM vestibule, and never leaves the supermarket parking lot. Seems that they’re trapped by a menacing man in a hooded parka, with no way of escape.

ATM is filming on location at night in Fort Garry, Winnipeg for its 20-day shoot. Thanks to Randall King for the heads-up!
