Chatty Antichrist poster

If there’s anything certain about Lars von Trier’s ANTICHRIST, it’s that it is quite embracing the controversy it has been gathering every since it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival a few months ago. This is especially obvious when you look at the U.K. poster above; I’m just surprised it’s not flaunting some of the negative buzz as well (although I guess you could read “A punch in the face of respectibility” as being negative).

A grieving couple retreats to their cabin in the woods, hoping to repair their broken hearts and troubled marriage. But nature takes its course and things go from bad to worse

ANTICHRIST hits select theaters in the U.S. on October 23rd, and OnDemand October 21st, which is definitely cool. It will be in all its uncut glory too, so consider me down. Check out the trailer below for a refresher.
