So what’d y’all think of SPLICE?

Judging by the paltry box-office returns, I doubt we’ll be sifting through heaps of responses, huh. Be that as it may, it looks like a new international one-sheet for the flick has been dredged, and the whole sexy-creepy factor the flick is playing up couldn’t be more evident. Seriously, this Dren is one oddly alluring beast!

Now, I didn’t get a chance to see the flick last weekend, so I can’t confirm or detest either ERIC WALKUSKI or THE ARROW’S REVIEW of Vincenzo Natali’s latest. But if the content of the film as lurid as the new poster suggests, I might have to see if Brody’s character ends up knockin’ boots with that damn creepozoid. Feel me?

Also starring Sarah Polley (below), Delphine Chaneac, Brandon McGibbon, Simona Maicanescu, David Hewlett and Abigail Chu, SPLICE centers on:

Elsa and Clive, two young rebellious scientists, who defy legal and ethical boundaries and forge ahead with a dangerous experiment: splicing together human and animal DNA to create a new organism. Named “Dren”, the creature rapidly develops from a deformed female infant into a beautiful but dangerous winged human-chimera, who forges a bond with both of her creators – only to have that bond turn deadly.
