Based on the internationally acclaimed sci-fi manga series, GHOST IN THE SHELL follows the Major (Scarlett Johansson), a special ops, one-of-a-kind human cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic's advancements in cyber technology. If you're curious to see if Rupert Sanders' adaptation will live up to the source material, you can check out a free preview in IMAX theaters on February 28th!

Marvel has pulled this stunt before, previewing the likes of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and DOCTOR STRANGE in IMAX theaters before it's theatrical release, and it looks like Paramount is looking to follow suit. It's a smart move, as long as the preview holds up. As of now, Paramount has just stated that it's a "first look at stunning footage and more", so who knows what that entails. But hey, it's free! Should be worth a look if it's playing in your area, so head HERE and book yourself some free tickets today!

GHOST IN THE SHELL opens in theaters on March 31, 2017.
