With March officially upon us, we’re now 1 month from seeing Louis Leterrier’s epic-in-scale refitting of CLASH OF THE TITANS. Considering such, I suppose it comes as no surprise to learn a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette has just flooded the inter-webs. Wanna see that shite? You know the drill!
Bumped from March 26th to April 2nd in order to make way for 3D conversion, CLASH OF THE TITANS is perhaps, behind ALICE IN WONDERLAND, the biggest spectacle to behold so far in this young new year (no, that PERCY JACKSON punk-ass doesn’t count around these parts). Leterrier directs from a script by Travis Beecham (THE BLACK HOLE) and Phil Hay (ÆON FLUX).
In the new featurette, which plays like more of a continuation of the last one we saw three weeks ago, watch stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Gemma Arterton, Ralph Fiennes, as well as the director himself – all talk about the intentions behind the film, how fun it was to work around all of the eye-popping visual FX, how all involved looked to ramp up the action of the original 1981 film, etc. etc. Even cooler, we’re fortunate enough to witness some more footage from the movie, including that badass Kraken monster and its f*cked up grill.
Nicholas Hoult, Izabella Miko, Alexa Davalos, Danny Huston, Jason Flemyng, Pete Postlethwaite, Mads Mikkelsen, Polly Walker, Nathalie Cox, Tamer Hassan, Luke Evans, and Vincent Regan all lend support.
