Based upon the Australian series of the same name, CBS' cop-comedy No Activity, which comes to us from Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, stars Tim Meadows and Patrick Brammall as a pair of low-ranking cops who spend far too much time together. Set over the course of a major drug cartel bust, the upcoming series celebrates the mundane in what should be a high stakes sting operation and also follows two criminals who are kept in the dark, two dispatch workers who haven’t really clicked, and two Mexican tunnelers who get stuck in a space unsuitable for a pair of relative strangers.
Set to debut on CBS All Access, the home of Star Trek: Discovery, on November 12, 2017, No Activity comes armed with plenty of big-name guest stars, including Will Ferrell, Jesse Plemons, Jason Mantzoukas, Jake Johnson, J.K. Simmons, Mackenzie Davis, Amy Sedaris, Arturo Castro, Bridget Everett, Sunita Mani, Adrian Martinez, and Michaela Watkins.
