Check out the cast of the new/second Day of the Dead remake

I don't know how I feel about yet another DAY OF THE DEAD remake. Actually, I know exactly how I feel about another DAY OF THE DEAD remake, but I'm going to hold off on my "look at this bullsh*t" reaction for a bit. Maybe until we see the trailer. Then I will cast my verdict – possibly with great vengeance and furious anger. But you never know. It couldn't be worse than Steve Miner's 2008 remake.

Not to hate on Steve Miner too much though. I mean, the man directed FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2 and 3, along with one of my favorite creature features LAKE PLACID. But, whatever, Miner isn't even directing this go-around. This time the remake duties fall to Hèctor Hernández Vicensalso, the director of the film I have never seen called THE CORPSE OF ANNA FRITZ.

The cast of the flick showed up on a few members’ Instagram accounts and I thought I'd share them with you guys today. If for no other reason than to test the waters on how you guys feel about this upcoming SECOND remake. DAY OF THE DEAD Remake #3's WTF synopsis:

The post-apocalyptic tale follows a former medical student tormented by a dark figure from her past, who happens to be a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her.

DAY OF THE DEAD is directed by Hèctor Hernández Vicensalso and stars Sophie Skelton (see below), Johnathon Schaech, Lorina Kamburova, Marcus Vanco, Nick Loeb, Rachel O’Meara, Debbie Sherman, Luke Cousins, Nathan Cooper, and Cristina Serafini.
