Check out the catchy theme for Ant-Man written by Christophe Beck

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Advance reviews for ANT-MAN have been somewhat mixed, although the one guarantee looks to be that we're in for a much lighter comic book film than, say, AGE OF ULTRON. Sounds like a nice change of pace! To help set the tone is composer Christophe Beck's theme for ANT-MAN. Beck has more recently composed some great scores for films like FROZEN and EDGE OF TOMORROW, but here he channels something completely different. It's what I can only describe as '60s spy meets Marvel superhero, and it's the catchiest thing you'll hear today!

Not too shabby, eh? I'm sad to say that most of the scores for comic book films these days don't exactly get the blood flowing, but this sounds like something John Powell or Michael Giacchino would come up with, and I do mean that in the best way! Also, a shout-out to this awesome retro poster designed by Laz Marquez (you can check his stuff out here). If the film is as fun as this theme and poster are, then it looks like we're in for a treat! The red ants are coming! THE RED ANTS ARE COMING!!!

ANT-MAN opens in theaters this Friday!
