It’s been a long time, but former PASSENGER 57 Wesley Snipes is back on set, joining the aging acton star franchise sequel THE EXPENDABLES 3 and today we have our first peek of the actor on set and in costume. Granted, the costumes are mostly military style duds and lots of fake blood, but hey, that’s the charm of these films. Snipes is jumping back into work after his unfortunate prison stint and it’s nice to see the actor getting back to work after a long hiatus.

Stallone seems as invested as ever with this suprisingly successful franchise and it’s cool to see him rallying this gaggle of stars together for some mindless, explosive entertainment. THE EXPENDABLES films are silly as hell and full of nonsense, but that doesn’t erase their charm, as it’s just a blast to see all these cats in one film doing what they’ve done their entire careers. In many ways, THE EXPENDABLES is like the action star retirement home and they’ve got lots of Jello and Bingo to go around. Keep it up, boys!

THE EXPENDABLES 3, starring Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey, Victor Ortiz, and Glen Powell will unleash the fury on August 14, 2014.
