This first picture we have of Viper from THE WOLVERINE is not reminiscent of the character I’ve seen in the past. Then again, it’s a set photo and seems to be her day-to-day look. Although, this look does give me Lady Gaga chills.
Svetlana Khodchenkova (TINKER, TAILOR, SOLDIER, SPY) took over for Jessica Biel when she dropped out. While Khodchenkova is definitely a babe just like Viper, I will reserve any and all judgment until I see the actual costume as well as her performance.
What we do know about Viper since much about her identity is unknown, she initially started out as part of Hydra, and even fought against Captain America. She has had a rather long and off relationship with Wolverine. Something to do with rescuing ol’ Logan in the past on the island of Madripoor. The rest involves brainwashing other ladies in his life, then realizing she has feelings for him. Just like a woman. Her mistake in THE WOLVERINE was messing with Mariko Yashida.
