Ever since the mighty unveiling at Comic-Con last week, Zack Snyder’s nubile-laced action flick SUCKER PUNCH has been steadily making headlines. Not only did we direct you to a recently launched website for the joint, we also saw 6 delectable character banners featuring the hot aforementioned lookers. And now, my dear friends, we finally have the first official teaser trailer for the flick!
You know, for some reason I thought SUCKER PUNCH would be a much smaller production than Snyder’s accustomed to, a la DAWN OF THE DEAD. I should have known the dude behind 300 and WATCHMEN had grander visions though, huh?
Landing into theaters March 25, 2011 – SUCKER PUNCH Set in the 1950s, Sucker Punch follows Babydoll (Emily Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.
