The sprawling Biblical epic of NOAH has been marketed so far based on Russell Crowe in the title role despite an acclaimed supporting cast that includes Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone, and JEnnifer Connelly. Emma Watson also stars in a key role in the film despite not having much screen time in the trailers to date. But, now we have a brand new trailer that premiered on Watson’s Facebook page, giving the young actress her most exposure in the film to date.

The trailer is shorter than the ones released so far, but this one definitely gives us more insight into the family dynamic at the core of Darren Aronofsky‘s film. Despite all of the controversy surrounding the supposed nature of NOAH and how closely it follows the Bible story or not, Aronofsky looks to have crafted quite a unique studio picture. The footage gets better and better with each new look and this one is no exception.

The Biblical Noah suffers visions of an apocalyptic deluge and takes measures to protect his family from the coming flood.

While we have heard that Aronofsky lost final cut to NOAH due to the studio being paranoid as to how it would play to mainstream audiences, the director is adamant that the version of the film we will see is 98% what he intended and he supports the film. At least that is what he told The New Yorker.

We will find out for ourselves when NOAH hits screens on March 28th.
