Here’s a nice find by the Bloody Disgusting ghouls: an early sales trailer for Darren Lynn Bousman’s forthcoming horror pic ABATTOIR, which is basically about the ultimate haunted house. As the project is still early in development, there isn’t any actual scenes from the film to be found in the trailer; instead it’s essentially setting the mood of the feature while showing off some nifty footage shot by Bousman. As the director notes, the main purpose for a sales trailer like this is to get noticed – and the preview below certainly accomplishes that.
The trailer starts around the 33 minute mark; as a bonus you can watch Bousman give some helpful career advice to those attending the Full Sail University lecture.
