Check out the trailer for Joe Swanberg’s Drinking Buddies, starring Olivia Wilde, Anna Kendrick, and Ron Livingston

Director Joe Swanberg is kind of renowned for his improv-style movies and as I struggled to think if I'd seen any of them before, it became evident that I haven't. So, while watching this new trailer for DRINKING BUDDIES, I went in cold. And, in all honesty, this looks like a fairly engaging pic. Starring Olivia Wilde, Anna Kendrick, Ron Livingston, and Jake Johnson in what looks like a nice trip down "relationship lane" this has all the feel and allure of an indie dramedy, which can be hit or miss. This looks like a lot of fun, though, and it certainly doesn't hurt, like, at all, that it stars Wilde and Kendrick. That alone merits a Netflix watch.

Take a look:

Here's the synopsis:

Luke and Kate are co-workers at a Chicago brewery, where they spend their days drinking and flirting. They're perfect for each other, except that they're both in relationships. Luke is in the midst of marriage talks with his girlfriend of six years, Kate is playing it cool with her music producer boyfriend Chris. But you know what makes the line between "friends" and "more than friends" really blurry? Beer.

DRINKING BUDDIES hits theaters on July 25, 2013.

Oh, I found this lying around, too. Seemed appropriate here…
