We were all presumably blown away by the teaser trailer for Rian Johnson’s sc-fi thriller LOOPER when it hit last month. Featuring a tantalizing concept and the awesome combo of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis, LOOPER looks to be one of the more exciting offerings of the fall.

Today we get a simple yet unique look at the film’s time machine, courtesy of a new UK Quad poster (via IGN). Eschewing the U.S. poster’s boasting of Gordon-Levitt and Willis, this quad is certainly higher on the geekometer.

Also, a new viral site for the futuristic flick has been revealed, asking the question: Who is the rainmaker? While we might have to wait for the answer to that query, within the site you can find the simple picture of Jeff Daniels that you see below. Not much else going on there, but probably a site worth keeping tabs on…

Coming out on SEPTEMBER 28th, here’s the rundown on LOOPER: In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day they decide to “close the loop”, sending back Joe’s future self for assassination.
