Well it looks like Cher’s film career isn’t quite over, while Christina Aguilera’s is just beginning. The Steven Antin-directed BURLESQUE will feature Cher in her first role since 1999’s TEA WITH MUSSOLINI and will also mark the first time that she sings in a film. As if that wasn’t enough to get you guys to the theatres, our favorite pop vixen Christina Aguilera will make her film debut opposite Cher as an ambitious small-town girl who comes of age in a neo-burlesque club in Hollywood. Cher’s character runs the struggling club and badly needs a saviour. It just so happens that in this particular case, her saviour comes in the form of a booming voice, bleached blonde hair and big, fake boobs.
