Child’s Play Video Game coming soon?

How would you feel about a video game based on the bloody adventures of Chuck and Co.? I know I would be down for some CHILD'S PLAY action in the digital realm, especially if they got Brad Dourif to supply the voice for the little redheaded sumbitch (and how could they proceed if they didn't, right?)

Anyhow, while there is no official announcement on the CHILD'S PLAY video game, the franchise's Twitter account recently posted this poll:

I know this tweet is any kind of confirmation a video game is in the works, but it sure seems like they are ramping up for some kind of decision soon. I mean, this question was pretty specific don't you think?

Now, you may remember it was announced back in May of 2011 that TikGames would be bringing us a CHILD'S PLAY game called CHUCKY: WANNA PLAY, but that game never got past their failed Kickstarter campaign. So will this new game be a revamped version of that game? I guess we'll see.

Truthfully, it makes sense that CHILD'S PLAY would be toying with the idea of releasing a game with all the attention the FRIDAY THE 13TH video game has been getting. And hell, if we can get video games for famous horror flicks with as much love and detail put in as the FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME seems to have, then I'm down for all kinds of new horror games.

HELLRAISER would also make an awesome game, by the way…

Until then we always have Don Mancini's new CULT OF CHUCKY to look forward to this coming Halloween. Check out all the details on that film below (as if you don't already know).

CULT OF CHUCKY synopsis:

Confined to an asylum for the criminally insane for the past four years, Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif) is erroneously convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered her entire family. But when her psychiatrist introduces a new therapeutic "tool" to facilitate his patients' group sessions – an all-too-familiar "Good Guy" doll with an innocently smiling face – a string of grisly deaths begins to plague the asylum, and Nica starts to wonder if maybe she isn't crazy after all. Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent), Chucky's now-grown-up nemesis from the original Child's Play, races to Nica's aid. But to save her he'll have to get past Tiffany (Oscar-nominee Jennifer Tilly), Chucky's long-ago bride, who will do anything, no matter how deadly or depraved, to help her beloved devil doll.

CULT OF CHUCKY is written and directed by Don Mancini and stars Jennifer Tilly, Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Grace Lynn Kung, Michael Therriault, Zak Santiago, Summer H. Howell, and, of course, Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky!

CULT OF CHUCKY is set to hit this Halloween.

How's about we make 'dem boobs' a playable character?
