Not too long ago we relayed a tidbit regarding master makeup man Rick Baker being set to receive a much deserved Chiller/Eyegore achievement award this month.

In a ceremony to kick off this year’s bar-raising Universal event Halloween Horror Nights, we now have a few more horror names set to receive honorary praise.

Namely, we have writer/director Rob Zombie (HALLOWEEN II, THE DEVIL’S REJECTS), actor Noah Segan (DEAD GIRL, CABIN FEVER 2: SPRING FEVER) and perhaps the most formidable and recognizable modern day horror villain, Tobin Bell (SAW-SAW VI).

Zombie will collect a “Best Filmmaker of the Year” accolade, Segan a “Best Villain” trophy, and Bell will scoop a “Best Villain in a Film Series” plaudit.

As we’ve mentioned before, the Halloween Horror Nights extravaganza will commence tomorrow (October 2nd-October 31), and will be hosted by the seemingly ageless wonder, Mr. Corey Feldman.

So what do you guys think, is Zombie deserving of a Filmmaker of the Year award after the tepidly met HALLOWEEN II?  How about Bell and Segan? Deserving?
