KICK-ASS 2 should be a bloody, fun ride but if you've read the comics you know things get pretty dark for Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl, and a lot of fans have been wondering how much from the comics might be cut for the film sequel. Christopher Mintz-Plasse was recently interviewed by Digital Spy and he revealed that two noteworthy scenes from the comics will not appear in KICK-ASS 2. Which ones? Scroll past the spoiler buffer to find out!

So Mintz-Plasse says the two scenes that won't be in the film are a rape involving Katie (Kick-Ass' girlfriend from the first movie) and The Motherf*cker's gang The Toxic Mega-C*nts, and the beheading of Colonel Stars & Stripes' dog:
There was a rape and a murdering of a dog that is just a little too much for this kind of world, cause this still is a comic book world and the violence is, even though it's bloody, it is over the top and it is cartoony in a way, that if you put a rape scene or like killing an animal in there it kind of just brings the tone down, it's a little too dark.
It might be too dark, but I know some fans are going to be bummed that these scenes aren't in the film. You can watch the interview with Christopher Mintz-Plasse below, as well as some comments from Mark Millar and director Jeff Wadlow about bringing the sequel to the big screen and if there's a chance a third film will happen. Millar also has some pretty funny things to say about McLovin becoming The Motherf*cker, so check it out.
KICK-ASS 2 also stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloe Moretz and Jim Carrey, and is in theaters August 16th, 2013.
