The folks at “Gemma Arterton Online” recently posted the first picture of Arterton in character as Sam Worthington’s mysterious love interest Io in the upcoming Louis Letterier directed CLASH OF THE TITANS. In the film, Worthington plays Perseus, a half-human, half-god who rallies against the forces of underworld god Hades (Ralph Fiennes) to prevent him from overthrowing the gods and prevent the death of the princess Andromeda (Alexa Davalos). Additional casting includes Liam Neeson as Zeus, Danny Huston as Poseidon, Mads Mikkelsen as Draco, Izabella Miko as Athena and Jason Flemyng as Acrisius. The currently filming action adventure is set for release March 26th, 2010. Click on Arterton’s surprised face to check out the full, high res pic.
