Yeah, you may ask what the hell is a CLASH OF THE TITANS post doing on a predominant horror website. To that sirs and dames, I say…
it’s Friday. And that’s pretty much all I got!
In all seriousness, despite CLASH being a remake of a worse-than-bad 1981 cult-favorite, the fantasy elements in the film revolve around such menacing creatures as Medusa, Hades, Draco – and any other malefic mythical being you can think of.
And now, courtesy of an Empire exclusive, we have the first few looks of the film.
Set to overtake the land March 26, 2010 – the new CLASH boats the all-star cast of Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Alexa Davalos (below), Danny Huston, Pete Postlethwaite, Izabella Miko, Jason Flemying, and Polly Walker.
The flick follows the myth of Perseus and his quest to battle both Medusa and the Kraken monsterin order to save the princess Andromeda.
Louis Leterrier (TRANSPORTER 2, THE INCREDIBLE HULK) directs from a script by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi (AEON FLUX). Travis Beachem (DOG DAYS OF SUMMER) is freighted with story credit.
So what’s up? Who’s stoked to see this thing? Anyone? If not, why not?
