Cobra Kai crane kicks perfect Rotten Tomatoes score with season 3

Season 3 of Cobra Kai doesn't make its Netflix debut until January 1st, but the show already has a 100% professional critics' score on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes. This is outstanding news for fans of the Karate Kid spinoff, as Cobra Kai is assuredly one of the most anticipated television events of 2021. In looking back on the show's previous ratings, Season 1 of the show continues to show no mercy with a 100% critics score, while Season 2 boasts an impressive 89% Fresh rating.

While several early reviews praise the martial arts teen drama as an emotional powerhouse that blends plenty of nostalgia with bold new paths for its characters, others have said that Season 3 is a might predictable and perhaps a bit underdeveloped. Who would say such a thing? Why our own Alex Maidy, of course, the rascal. In his review for Season 3 of Cobra Kai, Alex assures fans of the show that there's plenty to enjoy, but he also warns that characters can often be found making the same mistakes as they did in seasons' past. That said, Alex also mentions that Hurwitz and Schlossberg crafted much of Season 3 knowing that a fourth is already in the bag, so perhaps this is all a part of their master plan going forward.

Cobra Kai stars William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Peyton List, and Martin Kove.

Season 3 of Cobra Kai will debut on Netflix beginning on January 1, 2021.
