We received a heads-up about a couple of potentially really cool projects from indie team Rich Robinson & Neil Moore. Both sound like they’d make for fun times, and at the moment are just in the opening stages.
First up is THE SLAYERS, which is about a group of misfits who band together to fight a growing threat of monsters in their sleepy town. The flick is said to be modeled after the 80’s films of our youth such as The Goonies, The Explorers and Monster Squad – which sounds great to me! Hit up THE SLAYERS official site right HERE.
The filmmakers are also working on THE COLONY, which goes like this: Against the will of his peers, Sheriff Nick Whittaker must compromise his principles as law enforcer in order to protect the citizens of Eden Mills from a colony of wolf-like creatures dwelling in an abandoned mine shaft. Both official sites have promo videos of the flicks, which act as teasers for the future films (or web series). The projects are being shopped as we speak! Let’s wish the guys luck!
