Winter came to San Diego this summer as HBO’s juggernaut fantasy series brought the ultimate treat for fans. The Game of Thrones: Experience The Realm exhibit allowed Comic Con attendees to immerse themselves in the world of Westeros with interactive activities where fans could create an animated GIF of themselves getting torched by a dragon, pose for White Walker self-portraits, and show off their sword fighting skills to create an artistic rendering of themselves. There were also authentic costumes and props on display, including The Mountain’s gigantic sword and even the Iron Throne itself.
