Comic Con: Exclusive interview with Gravity star Sandra Bullock!

Last Updated on February 10, 2026

The idea of drifting out in outer space may be one of the most terrifying things one could ever imagine. And from the looks of it, Alfonso Cuaron’s GRAVITY looks to be one of the most intense movie experiences of the year. While at Comic Con, we had the opportunity to speak with one of the film’s stars, the lovely Sandra Bullock for the very first time.

When it comes to press lines, it is nearly impossible to get some of the bigger names. You have other interviewers spending way too much time with the talent, or they have to usher them into a panel quickly. Needless to say you are never guaranteed to speak to those involved with the film. Yet Ms. Bullock proved to be an incredible class act. The actress made sure to spend time to talk to every journalist waiting, even though everybody else had packed up and gone. She was sincere and incredibly gracious. Truly one of the bright spots at this year’s Comic Con. GRAVITY opens on October 4th 2013.
