NBC's rating-challenged "Constantine" has certainly had a rough first season, with the peacock network putting the brakes on the series back in November, not giving the Matt Ryan-starring show a back 9 episode order. But that doesn't mean NBC and showrunner Daniel Cerone isn't trying to find a way to keep the show alive.

We've already covered the rumor that the show could make a move to SyFy under the titled "Hellblazer", but if all goes well we could be seeing a second season on NBC. Unfortunately we'll have to wait until May to find out. Cerone took to Twitter to answer a fans question about the show being 'technically cancelled'. Read his response below:

Cerone has said consistently that the show isn't dead yet and that could very well be the case. I'm planning on catching up on the episodes I missed on Hulu as I've heard the show continually got better as the season went along. We'll keep you posted on news regarding "Constantine" as we hear it.
