Control Word that’s trickled down from the festival circuit and onto the cyberwebs is that the upcoming drama CONTROL packs an unparalleled dramatic punch. Coming from director Anton Corbijn, the film chronicles the life of Joy Division lead singer Ian Curtis and the personal, professional and romantic demons that lead him to commit suicide at the decidedly young age of 23. The folks at Cinematical were lucky enough to snag themselves a first look at the right-pictured plain but effective poster for the film which, if you’re so inclined, you can see in tasty high res over HERE. The film debuted to immense acclaim at the Cannes Film Festival, has been scooping up awards on the festival circuit, will be playing at the Toronto Film Festival and hits select theaters on October 10th.
