If you can’t get enough SHARKNADO – and Syfy sure hopes you can’t – then you’ll be pleased to know the network is planning to release a new video game in conjunction with SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE. Finally, you get to be Ian Ziering, just like you’ve always wanted!
Syfy enlisted Majesco Entertainment to produce an infinite runner SHARKNADO game, with you as the shark-slicing hero. According to THR, the first game will be for the iPad, iPhone and iPod with lots of “fast-paced, non-stop action that will have players racing through Manhattan bouncing off the backs of tiger sharks and wielding chainsaws from inside the Sharknado.”
It looks like the game will be free to play initially, but players will ultimately be able to buy additional levels, etc. There isn’t a set-in-stone release date yet, but it will become available either immediately before or after the sequel’s July 30th debut on Syfy.
