While I would argue that 2003’s Dr. Seuss adaptation, THE CAT IN THE HAT, doesn’t need the help of Jennifer Kent’s THE BABADOOK to make it freaky as shit, the folks over at Horror Report have combined the two in a little faux trailer by the name of DR. SEUSS’ THE BABADOOK. How appropriate. Who would have thought that the very idea of a giant, shit-inducing Mike Myers cat could actually get creepier?
Because both stories are rooted in a children's book, the two films go surprisingly good together, especially when you take the audio of THE BABADOOK and throw it into a wonderfully weird world created by Dr. Seuss. Dig it!
