Cool Horror Videos: Eli Roth’s animated Dark Souls short The Witches

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

My days of being up-to-date on the video game world are far behind me. It's been a decade since the last time I bought a video game, so I have no familiarity at all with FromSoftware's multi-platform role playing game series DARK SOULS. Something I do have some familiarity with are the works of filmmaker Eli Roth, so when an animated short directed by Roth that serves as a trailer for the game DARK SOULS 3 hit the net, it caught my attention and introduced me to the world of these games.

Entitled "The Witches", the short can be viewed below and I highly recommend that you check it out when you have two and a half minutes to spend watching what goes on when a hapless knight attempts to take on a trio of powerful, ghoulish witches.
