We see a lot of mash-ups ’round these parts, some great, some funny, and some atrocious. This 2012 trailer mash-up by Sleepyskunk is, however, just plain awesome. Featuring clips from all the hits (and misses) of the year, including THE AVENGERS, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, PROMETHEUS, JOHN CARTER, DARK SHADOWS, DJANGO UNCHAINED, CLOUD ATLAS, 21 JUMP STREET, LINCOLN, DREDD 3D, and countless others, the clip is edited with magnificent precision; an “ultimate” trailer that is exceptionally well done, firing on all cylinders and creating a great retrospective for the films of 2012.
Broken into 3 “acts” and leaving nary a stone unturned this is an absolutely enthralling and just plain fun trailer. If this were for a trailer for one, single movie, we would all likely have a seizure of awesomeness. Not the kind from watching UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: DAY OF RECKONING either.
