Cool Videos: 40-minute Coen Brothers documentary

JoBloJoBlo

If I had to make a list of my favorite filmmakers, the Coen Brothers would definitely be in the top 5. One of the movies my mom watched frequently when I was growing up was RAISING ARIZONA and ever since then I’ve loved watching their career.

There’s been a ton of great buzz about the Coen’s most recent flick, INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS which did very well at Cannes this year. While the buzz is still hot, the timing was right on this BBC Two documentary on the directors. Now, when I say the timing is right I mean it’s good that someone uploaded it to YouTube for all of us to see. The documentary actually came out in 2000 when O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU? was released. It of course starts out with some set footage from the film and a great comment on the Coens from George Clooney. Other actors from some of their films like William H. Macy and Tim Robbins are also in here.

If you have 40-minutes, I’d check this one out.
