Conan O’Brien has always been one of my favorite comedians. When I was a kid I’d set the VCR (yes I’m old) to record his late night show since I wasn’t allowed to stay up that late. Of course the VCR would turn on and wake my Mom up, who had no clue how to operate the device. “I don’t even know how to work the damn thing and you have it turning off and on in the middle of the night like it’s possessed!” This is why I’m glad I don’t have kids: I don’t want to feel old because new technology and my spawn have teamed up against me. It’d be sort of like John Connor saying, “No, f*ck you Mom. Robots are bad ass; I’m with them.”
Conan O’Brien had a Oscar Movie Review on his show and of course stamped each movie with his silly brand of humor. Just to tease what to expect: Argo Afro, lots of Russell Crowe singing, Twerk Break, and the scariest Gollum ever. Seriously, Bilbo needs a bigger sword. The Oscars (in case you didn’t realize it) are this Sunday.
