Mondays. Amiright?? We could all use a little more something on our Monday mornings and luckily I’ve got something for you that can turn that frown upside down.
You may remember back when we listed our Top 10 Films of the Summer and BRIDESMAIDS was listed as #1. This was somewhat controversial in the sense that we’re known as something of a dude-oriented site (I guess) and we said a quote-unquote chick flick was our favorite movie of the summer but not really controversial in that this summer mostly sucked and BRIDESMAIDS was a legitimately great film that made people laugh and generally deserves any of the praise heaped upon it.
But OK, shockerz!, the JoBlo.com boys loved BRIDESMAIDS. It hits DVD and Blu-ray next week and I’m excited to revisit it more than any other summer film that isn’t named ATTACK THE BLOCK. Since we can all use a smile or two this Monday morn, here’s a look at the BRIDESMAIDS gag reel. It’s fairly long (9+ minutes) and definitely raunchy (I believe “gaping assholes” is said more than once) but, of course, completely and totally worth it.
