What did you guys think of MORTAL KOMBAT: LEGACY? I know a lot of the fans of the game really dug it. Many people think that the series should be a jumping point for a new movie or even a spot on the small screen. But as for now, it remains a web series which is better than nothing.
I was more than excited when I found out that Casper Van Dien would step in as the new Johnny Cage. Then it was revealed that the original Shang Tsung from the film version, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa would reprise the role in the same season! Note that they are not connected in anyway though he does say, “It has begun.” in this trailer for the second season. For those wondering which classic characters will make an appearance, here’s a confirmed list: Kano, Liu Kang, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Jax, Baraka, Stryker, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Ermac and Kenshi. Sadly, we will not see Jeri Ryan back as Sonya for the third season due to scheduling so enjoy her now. Wait, does that mean that we could possibly get Bridgette Wilson back? Oh please let it happen.
