Nothing really going on as far as movie news today since everyone’s apparently in a candy coma, so why not watch a short film directed by and starring Shia LaBeouf? MANIAC comes to us from The Collective and Bloody Disgusting, the same team that’s been doing an absolutely incredible job of getting horror films in theaters.
MANIAC stars Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi) and Chris Palko (aka CAGE) as two serial killers. Wait a minute- black and white film, French dialogue, a camera crew following a serial killer- yes, LaBeouf’s apparently a big fan of the classic MAN BITES DOG. (If you haven’t seen that incredible film, pick up the Criterion disc ASAP.)
