Cool Videos: Trailer for the original Alien, now Prometheusized

Remember that for a while, filmmaker Ridley Scott kept insisting that PROMETHEUS had evolved into an original sci-fi project that wasn’t really a prequel to ALIEN? And then, well, the teaser trailer came out and looked pretty much exactly like that.

As we now acknowledge and accept (mostly), PROMETHEUS obviously does have some connection to ALIEN, which is especially emphasized in this enticing fan-made teaser for Scott’s original 1979 suspense classic done in the style of the new movie’s teaser. It might just raise your anticipation level for next year’s space jockey story. Or it might just make you want to spin up ALIEN again.
