Like Alfred Hitchcock did with all of his films, Stan Lee graces the films based on his comic creations in roles ranging from non-speaking cameos to utter a few lines for comic relief. Whatever the case, the legendary Marvel mastermind has appeared in almost every movie featuring a character he created since THE TRIAL OF THE INCREDIBLE HULK back in 1999. The 90 year old had two roles this year for different studios. His cameo in THE AVENGERS (two if you count the delete scene) was short but fitting and his librarian role in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN was the highlight of his appearances.
This video compiles every cameo into a nice five minute video which serves as a tribute to the man, the myth, the legend that is Stan Lee.
I would assume Lee will cameo in IRON MAN 3 and THOR: THE DARK WORLD as well. For a nonagenarian, Lee shows no signs of slowing down. I hope he has many years ahead of him and hopefully appearances in every Phase 2 film to come.
