The new LOST BOYS movie, titled THE THIRST, is about to hit DVD in a few weeks (read our review – which calls it mediocre – HERE), and while you’d hope that they’d just stake this tired franchise in the heart after it has already thoroughly sullied the name of the original, here comes Corey Feldman to dash your dreams.
Feldman, in an interview with ShockTillYouDrop, had the following, miserable, news to share, “If [The Thirst] performs as it seems it’s going to, we’re open to not only another sequel, but we’re talking three more films, a second trilogy. We’ve plotted out three more films that could bring back more original characters. We’re also talking a television series.”
Now, I like Corey Feldman. I’ve always wished the best for him, and I know that these movies are his bread and butter at the moment. But c’mon, now. Three more films and a series? Can’t Warner Bros. be tried for crimes against humanity in that case?
In the meanwhile, THE LOST BOYS: THE THIRST hits DVD on October 12th.
